Park Rules

 

These Park rules are in place for the good management of Donkey Creek Farm Caravan Park and the benefit of all who use it. Please make sure that anyone staying on Donkey Creek Farm Reads and understands the following: 

  • You must use the park safely and should not cause danger to others. Please obey all health and safety notices displayed in the park and report any accident to the office immediately. 
  • Electric cars – You must not charge your car on your pitch. Please ask reception for a token and more information for the car charging point. 
  • There is a speed limit of 10mph which must be adhered to. Please be considerate to pedestrians and children and wildlife. Please park in the permitted areas only or on your pitch. 
  • Please advise the office of any visitors coming to visit. All visitors must report to reception upon arrival. 
  • Arrivals are from 1pm onwards. Early arrivals are subject to a fee of £5.00. Arrivals after 6pm must inform the office. 
  • We ask if you can vacate your pitch by 12midday. Late departures are subject to availability and a charge of £5.00 will be made. 
  • No commercial or sign written vehicles will be allowed on to the site, if in any doubt, please ring and check before booking. 
  • Please respect the privacy of other park users and keep noise to a minimum, especially once the bollard lights have come on. Our quiet time is between 10pm and 8am. This also applies to the children’s play area. The gate to the play park will be closed at the warden’s discretion. 
  • You are asked to act in a courteous and considerate manner towards other guests and staff. The use of bad language and unruly behaviour will not be tolerated. In the event that this should occur, you will be asked to leave and no refund will be given. 
  • Stag and hen parties are not permitted. Please ring the office prior to booking if your party exceeds 8 people. 
  • Children should be supervised at all times, and are the responsibility of their parent or guardian during their stay. 
    • Please do not play ball games around the pitches, the big field is available. Please do not let your child play near the pond, as there are areas of very deep water and uneven banking. Please accompany small children to the toilet. 
  • Please note the use of electric scooters or hoverboards are not permitted on the park. 
  • In the event of a fire, please go to the assembly point located near the main gate. Fire points are located around the park and a Fire Notice displayed at each point. Please ensure you are familiar with their location. 
  • Please ensure BBQ’s and fire pits are raised above the hard standing ground and are not placed on any grass areas and are not causing any annoyance to other guests. No open fires are permitted. 
  • The number of persons (including children and babies) in any touring unit must not exceed the numbers of berth for which the unit was designed for. 
  • Please do not introduce any foreign items into the drainage system, including baby nappies, cloths, sanitary items, condoms, cooking oil, grease or paint or especially wet wipes. 
  • The use of fireworks, Chinese lanterns, kites or drones is not permitted. 
  • Please leave your pitch litter free. Please use the refuse bins provided. 
  • Any lost property found should be reported to reception as soon as possible. 
  • Assistance Dogs are welcome. The park rules will not prevent you or any member of your party using an assistance dog as you do at home. If this is required, please let a member of staff know so we are aware. 
  • We welcome two well behaved dogs per pitch (except any of the breeds subject to the Dangerous Dog Act 1991). 
    • Dogs must be kept on a short lead at all times unless exercising in our designated dog area. You must clean up if your dog defecates on the park. Bags are available at reception and dog bins provided. Please do not leave your dog unattended in your caravan, awning or vehicle, especially in hot weather.
  • Please note it is not permitted to: 
    • Commit any criminal offence (whether on the park or in its vicinity) which causes your name to be entered onto the Violent and Sex Offenders Register. 
    • Use the park in connection with any criminal activity or offence.
    • Commit an act of vandalism or nuisance on the park.
    • Keep or carry a firearm or any other weapon on the park.
    • Keep or use any illegal substances on the park.
    • Create undue noise or disruption or commit antisocial behaviour on the park.
    • Carry on any trade or business on the park.
  • The person making the booking is responsible for the conduct of their party. 
  • Please note it may be necessary to change or update these rules from time to time.
